How to Donate Your Used Lash Brushes
Here at Aki Lashes, it is important for us to try to do all in our power to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Because of this, we want to make sure you know what options you have if you want to do your part too. One easy way to do you part is to donate your used mascara wands and NOT throw them away.
Where to Donate
One place you can donate your used lash brushes to is the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina and help care for rescued wild life. Your donated brushes are used to remove fly eggs and larva from the fur and feathers of wild animals. They are mainly used on birds and bunnies, opossums and box turtles when needed.

Donate your wands here: WANDS FOR WILDLIFE
You can send your brushes to:
Wands for Wildlife
P.O. Box 1211,
Skyland, NC 28776
Before you pack them up to ship them out, please make sure you wash your brushes as instructed by the foundation.
Soak the brushes in warm soapy water to get any residue or dirt off the brushes.
You can print out the form below and include it in your package once brushes are dry and ready to ship.
Their program is currently accepting wands in October and February. Start collecting your brushes now and come October, you can ship them to the address above where your brushes can service another purpose. To keep up with what is happening follow their facebook page. Through all their efforts, they expect to help over 2,000 wildlife animals and your donation can help them with this.

Or Send Them to Us
You may also ship the wands you have collected to us and let us take care of the donation.
We will also be collecting wands for the October 2020 collection for the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge. You can ship us your used brushes to:
