On Aug. 23-24, beauty professionals gathered at the Long Beach Convention Center for the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa (ICES), a two-day event filled with beauty education, live demonstrations, new products, and opportunities to connect with professionals across the beauty industry.
For Aki Lashes at Booth #642, the weekend was all about engaging with the lash community in person.
Throughout the show, lash artists had the opportunity to discover Aki Lashes products, take advantage of exclusive tradeshow specials, and connect with our team. More importantly, we were able to hear directly from working artists about lash products and education, and help them find what they’re looking for.
Many products at the Aki Lashes booth were big hits, including our LED tweezer, lint-free eye patches, tape, mannequins, bonder, training kits and more which all were sold out this weekend.
One of the biggest highlights of ICES was our full-capacity Hands-On Lash Extensions workshop. Taught by Aki Lashes educator Carina Flores, the workshop combined classic lash extension and isolation education with hands-on practice, giving our 50+ attendees the opportunity to gain real learning experience under a professional lash artist.
