How To Take Care Of Lash Extensions

Follow these steps for simple eyelash extension care, to keep your lashes looking fluffy and fresh!

  • Take your contacts out during your lash appointment
  • Don't wear make up to your appointment
  • Let your lash artist know if you have sensitive eyes
  • Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure by avoiding water and steam during this period
  • Wash your lashes daily and use a gentle oil-free foam cleanser

Using a shampoo, specially formulated for use on the eyes and extensions, reduces the buildup along the lash line and gives the lash adhesive a better chance at doing its job, which is staying on the natural Lash. Clients who do not cleanse their lashes tend to have more fallout on their fill appointments and do not get as much work completed as someone who is coming in with more lash extension still attached.  If you have colored lashes, washing your lashes also preserves the color and the brightness of the extensions.

  • Avoid oil bases products
  • Use a bladeless fan to fluff up your lashes when you dry them
  • Avoid sleeping on your side, and sleep laying up
  • Refrain from picking and pulling your lash extensions
  • Schedule regular touch ups with your lash tech
  • Avoid heat like ovens, blow dryers, saunas, fire pits, stove tops, etc this can singe your lashes

💡 BONUS TIPS FOR DURING YOUR LASH APPOINTMENT

  • Relax and take a rest during your lash appointment
  • Avoid talking during your appointment, because your eyes move when you talk
  • Bring a inspo picture to your lash artist, so they can understand what you want and they can make suggestions if they have any
  • Communicate with your lash artist if you feel discomfort
