A beautiful lash set does not end when the appointment does. What your client does at home can have a major impact on how clean, comfortable, and well-maintained their extensions stay between appointments. Better retention makes a better reputation for you with your clients. That is why clear aftercare education should be part of every lash service.
Clients may not remember every instruction you explain verbally, especially after a long appointment. Giving them something they can reference at home makes those instructions easier to follow and reinforces the education you provided during their appointment.
Make Aftercare Easier With This Card

To make this easier for lash artists, we made your lash aftercare card for you. Download the template above, add your own rebooking QR code in the designated space, and have it printed for your clients.
Use a hobby knife to cut the provided lines in the middle, and place a spoolie through the space. Now, your clients have the instructions to maintain their lash set, and a complimentary tool to help them in the process.

Keep a stack at your lash station and send one home after each appointment. The card gives clients a quick reminder of important aftercare practices, including keeping their lashes dry after their appointment, cleaning regularly, being gentle with their extensions, avoiding oil-based products around the eyes, skipping lash curlers and waterproof mascara, and being mindful of how they sleep.
The “Rebook Here” section also gives you an opportunity to make the next appointment easier. Add a QR code that takes clients directly to your booking page so they do not have to search for your link when it is time for a fill.
Aftercare education also helps set realistic expectations. Lash retention is not determined by one factor alone. Natural shedding, application, cleansing habits, lifestyle, and home care can all influence how a set looks over time.
Professional service should continue beyond application. A clear conversation paired with a take-home resource helps clients understand their role in maintaining their extensions.
The goal is not just to send clients home with beautiful lashes. It is to send them home knowing how to care for them.
